Dear Carver Families and Community,

Our school is full of life again! It's wonderful to see the energy and excitement that a new school year brings. After a quiet summer, we are thrilled to officially welcome all of you back.

A new school year is a new beginning, like a blank notebook waiting to be filled. It's a time to see old friends and make new ones. Our teachers and staff have worked hard all summer to get ready for this year. We are here to help every student learn and grow, so they can do their very best.

Our school is successful because of our strong team: the school, our families, and our community. Your help and support make Carver a great place to be. We hope you will stay in touch. You can come to school events, volunteer, or just talk with your student about their day. When we work together, we can make this a safe and fun place for everyone to learn and thrive.

About Us

George Washington Carver Elementary is more than a school—it’s a welcoming, committed learning community where all students are inspired to grow and succeed. Guided by our core values of respect, responsibility, and safety, we provide a clean, safe, and supportive environment through collaboration among teachers, families, and community partners. As a Community School, Carver offers preschool readiness, after-school programs, tutoring, wellness resources, and family activities that support the whole child. Hands-On Learning

Carver Elementary brings learning to life through hands-on experiences. Our thriving garden program, along with STEAM and arts activities, helps students explore, create, and grow with purpose.

Student Leadership and Voice

Carver students build confidence and communication skills through our new Speech and Debate Team, learning to think critically and speak with purpose.

Career & High School Readiness

Carver 5th graders explore career pathways and high school opportunities through visits, hands-on activities, and mentor guidance.

Safe and Supportive Environment

Carver provides a safe, caring campus with a great Student Center and supportive teachers and staff, helping students feel secure, encouraged, and ready to learn.

STEAM Learning

Carver sparks curiosity and innovation through hands-on STEAM projects that build creativity, problem-solving, & critical thinking for future success

Community Engagement

Local organizations and mentors enrich our students’ education through guidance and activities.
